Refund & Cancellation FAQ

What is the refund policy?

All membership and submission-fee payments are final and non-refundable. Once a charge is processed, we do not issue partial or full refunds.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel anytime from your profile or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of your current paid period.

What does 'cancel within 7 days' mean?

If you cancel within 7 days of a charge, you will not be billed again at the next renewal. Your access continues through the end of the paid month you already paid for. It does not mean a refund of the current charge.

What if I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current paid period so you keep your current benefits until then. No refunds are issued for mid-cycle changes.

Is the filmmaker submission fee refundable?

No. The $35 submission fee covers review and processing, and is non-refundable whether the film is approved or rejected.

What happens if my payment fails?

If a renewal payment fails, we enter a short grace period so you can update your payment method. Playback may be limited until the issue is resolved.
